Delahoussaye Defies the Odds

29-year old Brent Delahoussaye, who is only 229th on the 2010 money list, defied the odds at the Canadian Open yesterday, shooting an 8-under par 62, which ties the Canadian Open record. Perhaps more impressively, Delahoussaye broke the previous course record of 64 at St. George’s in Toronto, Ontario. The previous record was set by George Knudson in 1968.

The PGA Tour rookie Delahoussaye starts today with a slim lead in the tournament. Whether he can hold onto that or not waits to be seen, but I wish the best of luck to a clearly determined player.
