Charlie Wi on a Roll

I’m sure many of you are familiar with PGA Tour golfer Charlie Wi.  I myself met him when we golfed together at my home course of Wood Ranch in Simi Valley back in the early 90s.  He’s always been an impressive golfer, with a style all his own, and a wealth of experience to draw from today.

Charlie has done extremely well in a wide range of tournaments all over the world including winning the Southern California Amateur in his younger days and the Maybank Malaysian Open while on the Asian Tour, but he has yet to clinch that always sought after PGA Tour win.  He’s been in the news quite a bit lately, with a hard fought fourth place finish at the recent AT&T National.  At the John Deere Classic this past weekend, he finished tied for 15th overall.

We can all learn something from Charlie’s hard work, dedication and strive to succeed in his sport.  He demonstrates for all of us how finding the training regimen that works best for you and sticking with it can pay off in the long run.  Best of luck to Charlie Wi with his career, and I’m sure if he sticks with it that PGA Tour win will come to fruition.
