Focus On Solutions

Golf is one of those games that can be very complicated especially when the feeling is off or your game in general is just off.  Focus on solutions to help improve your game; you can do this even if you don’t know what is wrong exactly.  If you aren’t sure where to start, a golf pro can help you figure out what is wrong with your game and find a solution.

Practice Makes Perfect

Maybe your ball striking is great and you’re getting your ball to the location you want it to go, but your score is not where you want it to be.  In this case, a simple solution of spending more time with the flat stick (the putter) andworking on pitching and chipping may be just what the doctor ordered.  Focus on the solution, practicing your short game, versus the problem.  Stay positive and again, get help if you just can’t quite manage to make the changes necessary.

Another important area to focus on is your health and wellness.  You can be a great player and score low on the front nine consistently but the back nine lets you down.  This is unlikely a case of bad golf skill but instead a case of you consistently being mentally or physically fatigued after nine holes because your health is not where it needs to be.  The solution here is to work on your health.  One of the easiest ways is to make sure that you’re eating right by having good, balanced meals.  Along with that, another great solution to your health is to exercise 2 to 3 times a week.  The White Belt Lesson from Black Belt Golf is great place to start with an exercise routine that is tailored for a golfer looking to stay in good shape.

This topic is not only for golf and for your health but also can be applied to your life.  It is a simple concept but is so often overlooked.  Instead of dwelling on what is going wrong in our golf game, switch that mental thought to what the solution is and you will get to where you want to go a lot faster.
